BRETT PARRY

Brett Parry is native of Australia, currently living in the USA while also maintaining a second home in Poland. He now devotes his time to being a cross-cultural consultant and facilitator, mentor and coach.

His professional background has been in doing business in various fields. These include an early career in the sales and support of large mining and industrial machinery, followed by ownership and management of retail and wholesale supply operations. These activities provided exposure to many regions of the world, including North America, Asia Pacific and Europe. With this came first-hand experience of the impact of culture in doing business across borders. Brett has developed a deep faith in the ability of the curious mind to navigate expanding global horizons and believes the skills to do so can be learned with compassion, action and knowledge, as well as an intentional plan designed to achieve high level personal and professional outcomes.

Brett has worked with hundreds of families, individuals and organizations, and understands there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to effective intercultural understanding. It takes intentional planning and ongoing development of cross-cultural skills.

Having been a board member of the US-chapter of his professional association, the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR) for several years, Brett now leads the association as President of SIETAR USA.
