Michael Todd Shinholster
Michael Todd Shinholster is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Culture Bridge and a Lecturer of International Business at Kennesaw State University. Todd, as he is known, specializes in international business consulting, leadership and global teams. He is also a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). Having been born in Macon, Georgia, to an American mother and an Austrian father, Todd has an unusual appetite for grits and schnitzel.
With over seven years of experience in cross-cultural training and program coordination, Todd has had the opportunity to work on projects for a wide variety of companies, including Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, KIA, AGCO, Lowe’s, The Coca-Cola Company, BCD Travel, Georgia Lottery, Siemens and Dow Chemical Company. He has also worked for Delta Air Lines, the 1996 Atlanta Paralympic Organizing Committee, the 1996 Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games and the 2004 G-8 Summit.
Todd has an MBA in International Business from Kennesaw State University and a BA in German (Language & International Business Concentration) from Georgia State University. He studied cross-cultural training for international corporations at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication. In addition to his native English, Todd is proficient in German, Spanish and French.
Todd served as President of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and has served on the Board for a number of years. He is also a member of Phi Beta Delta – Honor Society for International Scholars, SIETAR (Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research) and the German School of Atlanta.
